Did you know that Mississippi has the highest c-section rate in the country? Yes, the HIGHEST! Mississippi's c-section rate is 37.9% and while people may debate the reasons why, it's important that you know the numbers so you can stack the odds in your favor. Here are a couple of things YOU can do to help avoid a c-section.

✅-Find a supportive provider.
✅-Choose a hospital with a LOW c-section rate.
✅-Learn about childbirth, knowledge is power!
✅-Hire a doula.
✅-Practice your coping/comfort techniques.
✅-Don't go to the hospital too soon, stay home in early labor.

While doulas cannot guarantee outcomes, a huge part of what they do is help provide informational support. They suggest supportive providers in your area and hospitals that have low c-section rates (this one is super important, as there are hospitals in the area that have c-section rates as high as 40%!). We help you learn about birth and practice coping techniques with you and your partner. We help coach you on when is the most optimal time to head to the hospital in labor. A doula can really help give you and edge when planning your birth.

1-Day Clinic:

Great for a large group of people. I am one-on-one with the horse ... and I share from that unique place.

This is a new-to-me horse at the clinic location (usually one the host has) and I describe my process to connect/support/tune into the voice of/develop a relationship with----this new-to-me horse I am partnered with. ... if close enough to home, I often bring a Mustang partner to share our (always evolving) 'relationship theories' with that horse's unique support too.

$35 - $75+ participant cost (depending on facility fees and travel distance)

3-Day Clinic (Retreat):

This is my deep dive Horse-Human Relationship Retreat where horses may bring their own humans 😊

Limited to 7 horse/human pairs. All support is one-on-one and tailored to fit the unique place where each horse and human meet. Day one is a personal retreat, where participants dive into our own heart space, creating a safe container where we all feel supported and ready to better tune in, better hear, and better support (and be supported by) our horse partners in the coming days.

I also partner with a horse myself on this day to discuss and demonstrate foundational theories. ... because the best teacher is always the horse!

Day 2 and 3 are all one-on-one sessions for each individual team. All participants are very much a part of the entire clinic, because they are holding space and actively creating that container/environmental aspect of the Horse-Human Relationship (One of the three parts of the Horse-Human Relationship triad!)

Cost is $900 per participant for the 3-Day Clinic.
