🧠 Brain Awareness Week

This week we recognize Brain Awareness Week, a time to highlight the importance of brain health at every stage of life. Your brain controls everything from memory and movement to mood and decision-making—so taking care of it is essential for overall health.

Here are a few simple ways to support brain health:
✔️ Stay physically active
✔️ Get enough quality sleep
✔️ Eat a balanced, heart-healthy diet
✔️ Manage blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes
✔️ Keep your mind active with learning and social connection

If you have concerns about memory, headaches, dizziness, or other neurological symptoms, don’t ignore them. Early evaluation can make a difference.

Our primary care team is here to help you stay healthy from head to toe. 🧠💙

🧡 Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Week

During MS Awareness Week, we recognize and support the millions of people living with multiple sclerosis. MS is a chronic condition that affects the central nervous system, disrupting communication between the brain and the body.

Symptoms can vary widely and may include:
• Fatigue
• Numbness or tingling
• Vision problems
• Difficulty with balance or coordination

While there is currently no cure, early diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.

Our primary care team is here to help patients stay proactive about their health. If you are experiencing new neurological symptoms or have concerns about MS, we encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider.

Together, we can raise awareness, support research, and stand with those living with MS. 🧡

👁️ National Glaucoma Awareness Week

Did you know that glaucoma is one of the leading causes of vision loss, and many people don’t realize they have it until significant damage has occurred? Because symptoms often develop slowly, regular eye exams are the best way to detect glaucoma early.

During National Glaucoma Awareness Week, we encourage everyone—especially adults over 40, those with a family history of glaucoma, diabetes, or high blood pressure—to stay proactive about their eye health.

✔️ Schedule routine eye exams
✔️ Manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension
✔️ Report any vision changes to your healthcare provider

Protecting your vision starts with prevention and early detection. If you have questions about your health or need to schedule a visit, our team is here to help.
