Your posts following my illness have been both gratifying and humbling. I purposely waited to respond to be able to update the situation.
Following the (surprising) discovery of a defective heart valve, I underwent surgery to repair the problem. It was successful but residual issues necessitated two more surgeries including pacemaker placement. The prognosis is good but reopening the office was not possible.
It was a leap of faith to open an office as a newcomer in 1985. Thanks to Deborah and Joan, my son Drew, and the support of our community, we enjoyed almost 36 years in Greenmount - long enough to have had the privilege of treating three generations of families of Northern Carroll County.
On behalf of my family we thank you. What a great place to live!
