Happy Monday! It’s time to ! Today we are introducing our insurance billing specialist, Jessica!

Jessica has been with Legacy Optical since its inception in 2021, starting as an insurance billing assistant and growing into her current role as the practice’s Insurance Billing Specialist. She manages all medical and vision insurance billing, oversees claim reconciliation, and ensures that monthly patient statements are sent out accurately and on time.

A dedicated single mom of three beautiful children—and two playful kittens—Jessica fills her free time with the people she loves most: her kids, her mother, and her extended family. She enjoys binge-watching her favorite TV series, diving into suspense-filled novels, and challenging herself in the kitchen by cooking and baking intricate recipes.

We are delighted to announce the 2026 Hampton Bays St Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal as Mr. Brendan O Dwyer. Brendan, originally from Limerick in Ireland. Moved to Hampton Bays in the 90s where he settled with his Family. Brendan, always an advocate for the irish and is part of every irish club there is, The ancient order of Hibernians, the parade committee, the Hibernians GAA club to name a few. He is an integral part of the team that coordinates the parade annually and we can’t wait to have him leads us down Main Street on March 21st 2026. Congratulations Brendan!

Happy ! Today we’d like to introduce, Alexandria!

Alexandria started behind the scenes at Legacy Optical in September of 2024 doing administrative & billing work. Today, you will find her in the office as an Optical Assistant & Frame Stylist.

Alexandria quickly gravitated towards the optical side of things, and decided she would like to become a NYS Licensed Optician. She takes great pleasure in helping patients pick out frames that compliment their facial features and personality. She takes the time to discuss each patient’s unique needs as far as lens and treatments options to ensure they receive the best, and most comfortable quality within their budget.

Outside of Legacy, Alex enjoys spending time with her young daughter and son. She also does martial arts & tactical training; and you can find her pouring beer at Port Jeff Brewery on the weekends! 🍻

Several Hampton Bays High School students recently volunteered to provide translation services during the Town of Southampton’s second annual Resource Fair, held at the Hampton Bays Community Center. The students assisted attendees throughout the event, offering bilingual support to ensure all community members could access important resources and information.
