Engage in your childbirth education with interactive hands-on learning, fun activities, and informative materials to empower you from the end of your pregnancy, through labor and delivery, and into parenthood.

This evidence-based childbirth education class will provide a comprehensive understanding of:
* the anatomy of the pregnant and birthing body
* how to write an optimal birth (and postpartum!) plan
* how your partner can actively and effectively support you in labor
* ensuring informed consent with provider care
* induction methods and intervention options
* pain-management techniques with an emphasis on physical comfort measures
strategies for effective pushing
* preparation for the unexpected – including preterm labor, NICU stays, cesarean birth, and recovering from interventions
* immediate postpartum situations – including newborn procedures, initial feedings, skin to skin care, and bonding as a family
* guidance for going home – introductions to breastfeeding, physical recuperation, and screening for perinatal mental health complications
