Bri McCorkell is an energy healer, intuitive counselor and spirit doula. Bri works with and supports women through all stages of their life and cycles. Her offerings support women back into connection with their bodies and alignment with their intuition, feminine energy, wisdom and creative power. Bri’s sessions are all unique and intuitively lead, meeting you where you are in the moment with exactly what you need. A session may include reiki, womb healing, essential oils, flowers, an herbal foot soak: whatever your soul is calling for as we move through gentle practices to clear emotional, energetic, physical, emotional and birth traumas. Seeing, honoring and balancing all parts of you: mind, body and soul. Bri has a MA and CAS in School Psychology and Counseling and a B.A in Communication, Psychology and Spanish from Fairfield University. She is a Reiki Master + Teacher Trainer, certified in the healing art of Ho’oponopono and other healing frequencies, and uses her gifts of intuition, channeling and sacred healing to show women how to be their own healers. Bri’s also a mama, wife, and sober warrior who’s walked the same path as her clients. She lives with her husband Rory, their sons Holden & Noah, daughter June and a menagerie of pets in the Seacoast of New Hampshire.

I’m in one of the greatest initiations of my life.

Her name is Perimenopause.
You know her?

In the form of night sweats. Hot flashes. Hormone surges. Thick womb. Delayed bleeds. Zero tolerance for bullsht. Full system. No buffer. And more! 🙂

She is showing me all (alllllllllllllll) of the places where I have abandoned myself in my 42 years as a women.

where I have abandoned my body
my health
my knowing
my nourishment

where I have gone for the quick fix.
the bandaid.
where i’ve fawned.
pretended.
made myself smaller.
avoided.
numbed.
instead of being with the deeper thing.

where I’ve chosen things from a wound.
chosen from a place of “should” and/or inner good girl.

when i’ve sucked it in.
swallowed the vitriol.
dimmed my light.

where I have said yes. when it was no.
where I have said no when it was yes.

She is magnifying it, making it L O U D, and bringing it all the surface.

She is basically Alex from Fatal Attraction.

She is also showing me when something currently in my life is out of alignment.
When I step foot somewhere that is not for me, my body now speaks.

My womb flares. My lower back aches. My head feels like it’s radioactive.

Like my former ballet teacher who adjusted with a cane, PM is like

I’m learning that Perimenopause feels like the frequency of BABA YAGA.
She’s not soft.
She’s the fierce MA.
For those of us who require the wake up call.
And are meant to be moving into our Wise Woman archetype.

She is my current teacher.

She asks, Will you pay attention here?
Will you listen now?
Will you serve the truth?
Will you surrender?

She is bringing so much precision and sight.
Her sword of truth is sharp.
And I’m being humbled like a MF.
