This past weekend Katie H., Activity Director and McKayla B., Assisted Living Manager attended the Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce annual Appreciation Dinner.

Leahy Grove Independent & Assisted Living was awarded for 15 years membership with the Chamber. Thank you to the Chamber for putting on a wonderful evening and thank you for your continued partnership in our community. We look forward to many more events to come.

Please join us in welcoming Jillian, RN, as our new Director of Nursing!

Jillian brings extensive experience supporting long-term care communities in clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and staff education. She has served in Director of Nursing and consulting roles, helping teams strengthen systems, improve survey readiness, and maintain resident-centered care.

Her leadership style is practical and collaborative, with a strong focus on communication, consistency, and supporting the nursing team. Jillian believes great outcomes begin with well-supported staff and thoughtful leadership, and we couldn’t agree more.

With hands-on clinical experience and progressive leadership roles, she understands the day-to-day realities of nursing while working to continuously improve processes and quality.

We are excited for the expertise, stability, and heart she brings to our community.

Our Dietary Team whipped up a delicious dessert for residents, tenants, and staff to enjoy today at dinner. Jadin B., dietary aide (pictured) did an amazing job at decorating each piece of pie to make it special for our Valentine's dinner. ❤️😋

Katie, our Activities Director, and McKayla, our Assisted Living Manager, dropped off a few Brrr Baskets to some of our amazing community partners as a small thank-you for all they do. We loved stopping by Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics Franklin County Public Health - IOWA, FGH Clinic, and the Hampton Senior Center to share a little warmth and appreciation.
