As July comes to an end, we ventured out for one more trip to celebrate our Signature Program theme of the Vintage Maritime Port of Call! 👏

The Mariners' Museum and Park had an amazing collection of history that's been around for 95 years. ⚓🚢

We checked out some amazing exhibits featuring model ships of all sizes, cannons, oversized signs and figures, and even took a walk through the impressive USS Monitor Center.

James, our talented Dining Services Director, treated us to a mouthwatering Old Bay experience during last week’s ! 🦀🚢

Residents enjoyed a flavorful journey through the rich culture and cuisine of Maryland, with a creative twist on classic favorites that celebrated our theme of the Vintage Maritime Port of Call.

The menu featured a zesty street corn salad with a Chesapeake flair, succulent shrimp and mussels infused with iconic Old Bay seasoning, and a show-stopping spinach dip. 😋

It was a festive, flavorful celebration of Maryland’s coastal charm—thank you, James, for an unforgettable culinary adventure! 👏🍽️

This month's theme is an adventure through Baltimore, Maryland as we explore the Maritime Port of Call! 🚢 ⚓

Our residents embarked on beautiful renditions of iconic lighthouses, inspired by landmarks like the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse in the Inner Harbor and the Baltimore Harbor Lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay.

It was a pleasure having John come to play some Latin music on guitar for our community! 🎶 🎸

His voice and tunes mesmerized the audience who eventually joined in for a sing along.

Last weekend, a few of our Independent Living residents had a rejuvenating morning of Chair Yoga With Robin! 🧘 ✨

Our residents each accomplished different milestones: Lisa put in the effort to perfect her pose, and with Robin’s amazing guidance, she absolutely nailed it.

Meanwhile, Ron found peace as he explored the soothing sounds of the Tibetan Singing Bowl. It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to stretch, relax, and center ourselves, setting a positive tone for our weekend! 👏
