March's competition was even more fierce as the Norfolk Tides gifted tickets to the two associates who got the most steps.

A a special congratulations to James and Lisa for knocking this challenge out of the park, with a combined 568,695 steps! 🎟️🏆

Easter weekend featured a nostalgic Easter egg hunt! 🥚🔍

It was just like being a kid again as our residents joined their friends and neighbors in the courtyard to find sweet treats hidden amongst the flowers.

Our Dining Services team even made sure we finished the morning with a delicious garden brunch. 😋

We went all in on 's 2026 Annual Conference! 🎰

It was such a great week of spotlighting the exceptional leaders who make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, families, and fellow associates every day.

With this year's theme, "All In: Raise the Stakes," we invited our teams to reflect deeply, connect intentionally, and lead with purpose across our communities. ♣️♥️

From stadium favorites to throwing the first pitch of the night, we all felt like we were at the real thing. A big shoutout to everyone who attended and made this evening so special. 🫶

As we near the close of our theme of the World Series our Assisted Living residents stepped up to the plate! ⚾👏

While we were playing, wefound out that our resident Mr. Drummond was a Pitcher in his middle and high school years. He said, “I’m the Babe Ruth of all time!“ and shared a picture of himself uniform from 1950 when he was six. 📸

Great hand-eye coordination went into effect as they focused on the ball. In the end, there were some foul balls, ground balls, and even home run hits.

Amanda, our Business Office Manager, took us on an amazing tour of Buckroe Beach for her Tea On The Town program! 🍵 🚐

Her hibiscus iced tea paired perfectly with the scones and cream cheese sandwiches that she served.

Our residents enjoyed the beautiful scenery as we shared memories of Hampton throughout the years. 💭

We're ready for spring and there's no better way to prep than with ice cream! 🍨 🌤️

Dairy Queen - Fox Hill provided us with delicious chocolate dipped ice cream cones and a sweet taste of warm weather.

As we drove through town, one of our Sweet Memories residents even pointed out where she went to middle school, and we loved watching a City of Hampton employee dancing to music in his truck.

We look forward to many more visits this summer! 🔜

National Hydration Week was a great opportunity to kick off our flavored water bar! 🫗🍹

Our Resident Programs team hand delivered drinks around our community to residents and associates to give everyone a chance to learn about the importance of staying hydrated.

It was another way we're using 2026 as a journey of wellness! 🤩

Our Sweet Memories neighborhood explored the sights on the campus of Hampton University, including a tour university museum. 🏦 📚

As the oldest African-American museum in the U.S. and the oldest in Virginia, it specializes in African, African American, and Native American art, including the world's oldest collection of Kuba art.

Yvonne, our resident, was excited to see the Native American Exhibit reflecting her own family heritage! 👏🖼️

The Newport News Public Library Cookbook Club is a great way to explore fun new recipes! 🍽️🧾

March’s theme of Women Authors brought us to Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Table cookbook, leading our Sweet Memories residents to create strawberry shortcake biscuits. 🍓

The fresh strawberries and homemade biscuits were a perfect treat on this almost spring afternoon!
