Ta**ra Curious Friday ✨
Radiance Sutra #71 x Goddess Lakshmi

“When you look into your own being,
you find the luminous reflection
of the one who sees.”
— Radiance Sutra #71

💫 In Ta**ra, the eyes are sacred portals — they don’t just see the world,
they illuminate it.

When we soften our gaze and look through the eyes of Lakshmi,
we awaken to the art of sacred seeing.
Every color, every curve, every face becomes a reflection of the Divine.

🌺 Lakshmi’s blessing is not only in gold and beauty,
but in the perception that turns the ordinary into holy abundance.
She teaches us:

“See with love, and the world will shimmer with grace.”

🪞 Practice today:
Pause. Breathe. Look gently at what’s before you.
Whisper within — “The light in me honors the light in you.”

📿 Mantra: Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah
✨ “Salutations to the radiant one who reveals divine beauty in all things.”

🌿 Ta**ra Curious Wednesday: The Sacred Pause

Midweek invites us to pause — not to stop, but to soften.
To notice where we’ve been moving on autopilot…
and let the breath guide us back to presence.

In Ta**ra, the pause isn’t absence — it’s potential.
It’s where Shakti (movement) meets Shiva (stillness).
Where awareness becomes bliss. ✨

🪐 Planet: Mercury (Budha) — clarity & communication
🌬️ Element: Air (Vayu) — breath, movement, intelligence
🕉️ Deity: Vishnu — preserver of harmony
📿 Mantra: Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya

1️⃣ Inhale — feel air move through your heart.
2️⃣ Exhale — rest in the stillness that follows.
3️⃣ Pause — sense the space between… and listen.

“In every breath, I rediscover balance.
In stillness, I return to the wisdom of movement.”

Take a sacred pause today — and feel the universe breathing through you. 🌬️💫

🪔🙏🏽🎇 The second day of Diwali is called Naraka Chaturdashi or Choti Diwali.

Here's what it signifies and how it's celebrated:

🙏🏽👹🙏🏽Significance: This day celebrates the victory of good over evil.

🗡️⚔️It commemorates the slaying of the demon Narakasura by Lord Krishna and his wife Satyabhama. It is also believed that on this day, Lord Krishna's devotee, Satyabhama, killed the demon Narakasura. In some regions, it's associated with the goddess Kali and her triumph over the demon Raktavija.

Rituals:

* Early Baths: People wake up early and bathe, often with fragrant oils and ubtans (pastes made from herbs and flour). This is considered to purify the body and soul.
* Home Decoration: Homes are decorated with diyas (oil lamps) and rangolis (colorful patterns made with rice flour, sand, or flower petals).
* Worship: Prayers are offered to Lord Krishna, Satyabhama, or Kali, depending on regional traditions.
* Festivities: Although it's called "Choti" (small) Diwali, many people celebrate with fireworks and small feasts.

Regional Variations

* Hanuman Puja: In some parts of India, especially Gujarat, this day is also observed as Hanuman Puja, honoring the monkey god Hanuman.
* Kali Chaudas: In Rajasthan and Gujarat, the day is known as Kali Chaudas, with a focus on appeasing the goddess Kali.

No matter how it's celebrated, the second day of Diwali is a time for joy, purification, and the triumph of light over darkness. ⚔️✨🎇✨⚔️

🪔🙏✨ Today is Dhanteras, the beginning of Diwali, the Festival of Lights.

Dhanteras is a Hindu festival celebrated two days before Diwali. The word "Dhanteras" is formed from two words: "Dhan" meaning wealth and "Teras" meaning thirteenth. It falls on the thirteenth lunar day of Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the Hindu month of Kartik.

Significance:
* Welcoming Prosperity: Dhanteras is associated with wealth and prosperity. It is believed that buying precious metals like gold and silver on this day brings good luck and fortune.
* Honoring Dhanvantari: The day is dedicated to Dhanvantari, the Hindu god of Ayurveda and an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is considered the physician of the gods and the source of all healing.
* Celebrating Health: Dhanvantari's emergence from the ocean during the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean) with a pot of Amrita (nectar of immortality) symbolizes the importance of health and well-being.
* Preparing for Diwali: Dhanteras marks the beginning of the Diwali festivities. People clean and decorate their homes, light diyas (oil lamps), and offer prayers to Goddess Lakshmi for prosperity and good fortune.
Traditions:
* Purchasing valuables: People buy gold, silver, utensils, or new clothes on Dhanteras as a symbol of welcoming wealth and prosperity.
* Lighting diyas: Diyas are lit in the evening to ward off evil and welcome Goddess Lakshmi.
* Praying to Dhanvantari: People pray to Lord Dhanvantari for good health and well-being for themselves and their families.
* Making Rangoli: Colorful rangoli designs are created at the entrance of homes to welcome the deities.
Dhanteras is a joyous occasion that celebrates health, wealth, and prosperity. It is a time for new beginnings and a reminder to be grateful for all the good things in life.

🪔🙏 ✨"May the light of Diwali fill your home with joy, peace, and prosperity. May Dhanteras bring you wealth and good luck."
