Today, we invite you to meet our ADON, Karissa Barlow.

From starting as a brand-new cart nurse in 2006 to becoming our ADON in 2024, Karissa Barlow's journey is nothing short of inspiring. Over the years she’s worn many hats including Charge Nurse, MDS, Skilled Care Coordinator (running an 8-year deficiency-free unit!), Unit Manager, Infection Preventionist, and now ADON.

Her passion for long-term care shines through in everything she does. She loves educating staff, building meaningful relationships with residents, and continually growing in her career. We’re so grateful for her dedication, leadership, and heart.
