As a new year begins, this simple prayer speaks volumes: “Lord, silence the what ifs.”
At Genesis Counseling Center, we see how what ifs quietly fuel anxiety—what if I fail, what if I’m alone, what if things don’t change. They pull us out of the present and away from trust. Scripture reminds us that God is already in our tomorrow, steady and faithful, even when the path feels unclear.
This year, may we practice releasing the questions we were never meant to carry and replacing them with surrender. Not certainty in outcomes—but confidence in Who goes before us. When the noise of fear rises, may we return to this prayer and allow God’s peace to speak louder than our worries.
Here’s to a new year marked not by fear of the unknown, but by trust in the One who knows. Need a little help in your journey? GET STARTED TODAY at: https://genesiscounselingcenter.com/forms-virginia-new-clients/🤍
