The funeral home has provided funeral and cremation services to families in the Tidewater region since 1909 and moved to the grounds of Parklawn Memorial Park in 2000. The memorial park offers a wide variety of burial options and was

established in 1957. The crematory officially opened in 2023, allowing us to further care for loved ones on-site. Happy August our dear Facebook friends!!

August is Back-to-School month for all our local friends. Parklawn will be hosting our second annual Stuff a Backpack Event!

We are asking the community’s help in donating supplies. We bought backpacks for the event and are asking for school supply donations.

When you donate you are not just helping the community, but we will also post on our page and advertise you at the event. If you can’t physically bring in donations, you may send them to the funeral home or a team member will come pick them up for you!!
