We are a travelling Holistic Health Education school that offers both private one on one training, personal healing sessions, and group workshops. We take people to Hawaii to learn Hawaiian Healing practices and cultural teachings from the indigenous people. Our company focuses mainly on these modalities:
- Traditional and Temple Style Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage
- Ho'oponopono and Spiritual Counseling
- Breath work and Shamanic Bodywork
- Stress and Toxin Management for the Colon
- Touch For Health and Passive Structural Alignment
Hawaiian Shamanic Bodywork was born on Kauai over 20 yrs ago when Wayne began his journey learning Temple Style Lomilomi several years after meeting and working with a powerful Kahuna named Abraham Kawai'i. Wayne has been teaching Huna and Lomi for almost two decades in the US, Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, the United Kingdom and Australia. Wayne founded the Company Shamanic Bodywork with Patti Miller in 2004. Wayne and Patti have been so blessed to have studied with five other Masters in the last 13 yrs: Serge Kahili King, Lawrence Kamani Aki, Sherman Dudoit, Harry Uhane Jim, and John deRuiter. These and many other teachers continue to inspire us to this day! Wayne is currently traveling mostly between the Mainland and Hawaii, and Patti is currently running the Canadian offices in Gibsons BC. Patti has loved the path of Hawaiian healing and enjoys sharing the process of Ho'oponopono and Ancestral healing as part of her teachings and her private practice. Patti has enjoyed learning the art of hula (dance) and Hawaiian Mele & Oli (songs and chants). Patti also enjoys combining the use of essential oils as a plant medicine with the lomilomi massage. Wayne and Patti are working hard at writing a book on Shamanic Bodywork. The book is being published by Lewllyen and will be released in 2018. They have also created an online store called the Shamanic Bodywork Store that is linked through their website shamanicbodywork.com The store features artwork created by Patti Miller, as well as many other divine treasures.

Shamanic Bodywork was founded in 2004 by Wayne Kealohi Powell and Patti Miller.
Wayneâs journey with Hawaiian Bodywork began in the 1980sâ after meeting and working with a powerful Kahuna named Abraham Kawai'i. Since then, Wayne and Patti have been so blessed to have studied with five other Masters in the last 13 yrs: Serge Kahili King, Lawrence Kamani Aki, Sherman Dudoit, Harry Uhane Jim, and John deRuiter. In 2018, Wayne and Patti published a book on Shamanic Bodywork titled Hawaiian Shamanistic Healing: Medicine Ways to Cultivate the Aloha Spirit. Wayne is currently at work on the second book, Go Vertical.
