We love to see Winnie get the recognition she deserves! 🐴💕

It isn’t often you a see a horse, albeit a miniature one, on an elevator, but thanks to Winnie, a mobile therapy horse who’s bringing a bit of joy to some of the state’s care facilities, it’s becoming a little more common in Alabama. 🐴

“We come to them,” said owner Bianca Schmitt. “We go down the halls, into the rooms. There’s a lot of residents or patients who are bed bound, and being able to take Winnie right into their room and have her bedside for these residents to be able just to sit there and pet her and love on her is incredible.”
