Hanceville Nursing and Rehab Center We are a skilled nursing facility located in Hanceville, Alabama. We have 208 beds and are dedicated It is one of extended family.

When you enter our facility you can always be assured a warm and friendly greeting from staff who take a personal interest in every resident. We have a number of pleasant patios, sunrooms, and courtyards for our residents to enjoy. Rocking chairs, swings and other furniture are provided, along with pergolas and shaded porches. Mattie’s Garden is an area where residents can plant and tend to their

own flowers and gardens and even relax by our fishpond. The relationship between residents and staff here at Hanceville is found in very few other places. We strive for that personal touch here, which is a rare and beautiful thing. Much has changed over the years in terms of technology and methods of care, but we still live by the words Jim D told us to keep in mind every day: “Treat each resident as if they were your own Mama or Daddy.”

🌟 Employee Spotlight 🌟

Kasadi has been a C.N.A here at HNRC for 3 years. The thing she enjoys most about her job is morning coffee with her residents and helping get them ready for their day. She was inspired to join this field of work because most of the women in her life work in the field. Her favorite thing about HNRC is knowing everyone and it makes talking easier. Her advice to any future employee is to talk to your coworkers and follow the resident's routine.

When Kasadi is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her cousin Mason and they make it a point to spend family time together every off day by going to have dinner together or doing something hanging out.

Freida has been an employee with us for 18 years and she loves her job! She says her favorite part about HNRC is being here with everyone and doing for the residents. Her advice to any new employee is that the hard work you put in is worth it for the residents. Freida's favorite things to do while not here include writing and reading books.
