I wrote this right after the last retreat just over a week ago…
Today lifted my heart and grounded me through my calling in life. I was blessed to offer up a Vision Tree Retreat and eight of us gathered in today at the Ripley Falls Home of Healing. We honored the energy of this part of the year, the womb time of winter, when the small seeds of possibility are being dreamed through the darkness and quiet of deep winter (and here in the UP it indeed IS deep with over 200” of snow so far). We tenderily nourished ourselves with stories, laughter, good food, inspiring words, and creative visioning. We let go for a moment of all of the hard realities being faced in our human family and embraced opening up to other ways of being which lend to becoming the harmoneous diversity that life flourishes in.
I sit here now in my beautiful home and hold all of the light which was tenderly nourished here today. I am blessed by this work I am honored to be a part of in this life of mine. We are each others keepers. We are each others ground. We are the whole together. Blessed be.
