Tomorrow will be the last market we'll have carrots at, for this spring. We'll go to market maybe weekly or biweekly after that as needed (the hens are picking up laying, and can't be switched off until spring, and I don't want them to stop, they eat every day whether laying or not, ouch!), but we're kind of in wind down mode for the winter market (just in time for wind up mode on the farm, for season 2025.) :) This storm is cozy, if you are inside. Good readin' weather too......I like to pick up older style books at second hand stores and rummage sales. While tinkering around in my office on Tuesday I think it was, I ran into this old classic I had bought somewhere. Gave it to 13 year old Molly to read. With a bit shy of 300 pages, it'll keep her nose in a book for a while (she's a bookworm). Haha. She brought it to me tonight....here, Dad. You're already done with it? Yup, with a big grin. ๐ Guess I'll hafta rustle up something else for her.....probably a bit young to appreciate my Civil War set, or Magnalia Christi Americana or The Federalist Papers, but I'll find something. Go Molly, read on! ๐
