📌 Will the Walk for Peace End After Reaching Washington, DC?

As we draw closer to Washington, DC, we sense that many people are worried that this journey is coming to an end—that once we reach our destination, the Walk for Peace will be over.

Please be assured: while this physical journey will conclude, the Walk for Peace will not end.

This 2,300-mile journey from Fort Worth to our nation’s capital is nearing completion. However, peace is not a destination we reach and then leave behind. Peace is a path we walk together every single day—in every choice made, every kind word spoken, and every compassionate action taken.

Please stay tuned to our page, because we will continue this path with everyone. There is so much more to share, so much more peace to nurture together, and so many ways we will keep walking forward as a community united in loving-kindness, compassion, and unity.

The miles may end, but the journey for peace continues. The road may conclude, but the spirit of peace nurtured together will keep growing, blooming, and spreading through each and every one of us.

Everyone has walked with us in spirit. Everyone has welcomed us with open hearts and shown us that peace is alive and possible. Now, together, we will continue this walk—not just for a season, but for a lifetime.

With deep gratitude and endless hope, we walk forward together.

New to astrology? Me, too. What an interesting journey. Want to poo poo it? Go ahead. I did, too. Until I began learning (let’s just say A LOT), and then testing it against some real life things. We have ways of knowing that can’t be measured in concrete scientific terms. And. Yet. Our hearts can tell us things our logic craving parts of our brain just cannot get. We need them both. Especially now. Somewhere along the way, I adopted Art Bell’s mantra: “Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.” Maybe you’ll want to adopt a variation of it for your own. If you allow the weight of the Moment to overwhelm your ability to Rise, you have lost. Resilience is found in rest, and small moments of breath and joy where you can find them. People need to remember to breathe and rest more than ever, and come back to relieve others who also need to breathe and rest. It is an ongoing wave. Sadhguru has a practice daily, a chant, which people participate in around the world as a rolling wave for 20 minutes, chanting the names of Divine Source. I love the idea of this, being part of a nightly wave that continuously rolls around the world through the time zones, of pure sound love. From a HeartMathInstitute perspective, it wouldn’t matter if we were chanting words, or singing nonsense syllables, as long as it is coming with sincerity/emotion from the heart. Feeeeeel it. People who sing in a choir get this—staggering breaths, so that the sound is continuous, unbroken. And know that others are waiting to carry the baton as you hand it off to them while you breathe and rest, so that you, in your turn, can reach back and pick up the baton when it is handed to you.
