The Yogi Medic Lucianna is The Yogi Medic. Lucianna is an RYT 500 that has been teaching yoga since 1998. Now she blends the two worlds as The Yogi Medic.

Previously owner of Sojourn, she decided to close during Covid and made a career change to Paramedic.

The world is changed without you in it 💔🕊️
This woman saved my life many times. Our friendship morphed from mentor to Godmother to soul sister over the span of 30 years. I was 21 she was 48 when we met and we were instant family.

She had the gift of heightened intuition to say the least….. integrity….. compassion….. intelligence. If you had a question, she had the answer. She could look into your mind and heart and illuminate the broken places. She did her healing work in a way that empowered her students to find their own answers while also being genius at knowing just how much info to give to help you see more.

The love Baba gave was the purest. She saw the BEST in me when I was invisible and dedicated herself to helping me see it too. I will think of her and miss her every day for the rest of my life.

In her final days she knew where she was going and heaven in her eyes. She said many beautiful things to me and to her family. One of the last beautiful messages from heaven that she delivered was….

Yoga. A lot of people show up because they feel like they need to stretch. What they don’t realize is that the classes I create are like a full body massage with some strength benefits. The journey of each yoga experience contains a system of:
✨ removing the accumulation of tension in your muscles. This tension is the very thing making you feel achy, stiff, tired.
✨ improving muscle length by moving the joints through all ranges of motion.
✨ giving the nervous system a reset by offering a point of focus to the present moment and encouraging 3-part breathing
✨ closing the class with a 5-6 minute guided meditation to induce deep relaxation

Our Story

Sojourn is a sanctuary for healthy living that offers the best of massage, reiki, yoga and resistance training services. Lucianna started in a one room office on the second floor of The Wealth Center Building offering massage and private yoga training in her one room office. Over time, her business and her skill set has evolved into not only teaching weekly yoga classes, but also teaching teachers and offering personal training services in her expanded health & wellness center now located in the ground floor of The Wealth Center Building in downtown Hanford. Sojourn yoga classes offer a sustainable, mindful and accessible yoga practice that simply makes you feel great! Simple breath work is combined with mindful movements and focused intention to provide an authentic yoga experience. Her personal training gym is in the same building and is equipped with top notch equipment in a beautiful setting to provide a private personal training experience. Nestled in the back of the building is a cozy and serene office where therapeutic massage and reiki services are provided. Sojourn is by appointment only and offers services daily. Currently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Sojourn is closed for in person services but has many online options available. We look forward to being able to see you in person soon!!
