Our residents just got schooled in awesomeness with “May the 4th Be With You.” Then we threw a Cinco de Mayo Party today, because why not? There was dancing, mariachi music, and all the Taquitos, fresh salsa, and chips one could handle. Oh, and someone enjoyed jalapeño poppers - no surprises there. Big thanks to Tobias from California HomeHealth for hooking us up with those sweet Mexican Sweet breads.

Our residents enjoyed the morning excursion. We visited the Kings County library at its temporary location. A couple of our residents read, while others observed and offered encouragement. We appreciate Kart transportation for facilitating the trip for some of them. We would also like to express gratitude to the Library for hosting the Open Mic Event. We look forward to our next visit.

Savanna, an ICU nurse at Adventist Health in Tulare, visited to provide our residents with information on fall prevention. We would like to thank her for sharing her expertise and time. We look forward to her return for another informative session.

Our residents had a hopping good time at their Easter party. They first got crafty making floral arrangements and helped set up tea sets. We’d like to thank American Quality Life Hospice for the sweet treats. They also chomped down on egg salad on croissants. Played many rounds of Easter hot potato. Fun times had by all.

We wanted to thank Mid Valley 4-H group. Great job in planting tomatoes and flowers Kaden, Cole, Emersyn, and Kaleb. We’d also like to thank the group for donating bingo prizes. What a day we had together.

We’d like to thank American Quality Life Hospice for kicking off our St Patty’s Day party with a bang. Our residents were totally green with envy over the cookies, cupcakes and mint chip milkshakes. Lots of goofy grins.
