Denver EFCT Externship – September 3–6, 2025

Join Dr. Paul Guillory and Dr. Robert Allan—both ICEEFT-certified trainers—for a four-day, in-person EFCT Externship at the Tivoli Turnhalle in Denver, CO.

This externship offers over 24 hours of live training, practice, and demonstration focused on multicultural humility, emotional connection, and attachment-based intervention.

What you'll learn:

How to apply Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) with diverse couples

Real-time demonstrations, including LGBTQ+ and multicultural pairings

The EFCT "Tango" and emotion-focused interventions

How identity and marginalization shape the emotional life of couples

Clinical skills you can use immediately

As we reflect in this post-election moment, Audre Lorde’s words remind us of the power of radical interdependence. True freedom is found in relationships that allow each of us ‘to be, not in order to be used, but in order to be creative.’

Now more than ever, building relationships rooted in collective strength and creativity is essential. As always, we honor the lessons from those who have come before us and who helped pave the way.

We want to honor the power of ‘active being’ and interdependence—uplifting each other and creating space for each person’s voice, freedom, and growth. The revolution starts within us and in our relationships.
