Condolences to the Crosby Fire family great guy gone way too soon please keep them in your prayers.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Retired FF/EMT and Lifetime Member Ruben Leal. Ruben was dedicated in service to the community of Crosby for over 15 years with Crosby Volunteer Fire Department. Please remember his family both in prayer and support.

The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking motivated individuals who are committed to the protection of our students, teachers, and faculty at both Anahuac and East Chambers ISD.

In accordance with House Bill 3, the Sheriff’s Office has multiple positions open for immediate fill. We encourage anyone who has experience as a school resource officer (SRO) or currently serves as an SRO to apply.

Employment as a school resource officer will follow the same pay scale and receive the same benefits as a Patrol Deputy. Benefits include the following, plus much more.

· 2023 Deputy Salary Range $62,896.82 - $83,521.15 (Dependent on years of service).
· Yearly Stipends for Education, Certifications, and other incentives.
· Competitive Retirement
· Paid health insurance for employee
