Sometimes kids find it hard to put their emotions into words, especially with so many new experiences at the start of the school year. Our QMG Behavioral Health team suggests using an emotions chart, like the one below, so your child can see a range of emotions and identify one or more that fit with how they’re feeling — giving you a better idea of what’s going on inside when words are hard to find.
