What's a cowboy to do?🐴

When the wear-and-tear of the cowboy lifestyle caused Mike Wright's quality of life to suffer, he knew it came down to hanging up the saddle or seeking help, and surgery was a HARD NO!

Thanks to Carrie Bennett and the Blessing Health System Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team, Mike was right back to "horsing around."

We also have Spiritual Care volunteers, including pastors, deacons, lay ministers, and members from local places of worship, who desire to give back to their local hospital by providing spiritual support to our patients, their families, visitors, and staff.

Interested in a future in healthcare? Start here.💙

Our Youth Corps program at Blessing Health System offers high school students (ages 14+) a hands-on opportunity to explore the healthcare field while giving back to their community.

✔️ 11-week program
✔️ One shift per week
✔️ Real-world experience in a healthcare setting

Students who complete the program will receive a letter of completion documenting their service hours—perfect for building resumes, college applications, and future career paths.

Students interested in participating in the Youth Corps program are encouraged to complete the Volunteer Interest Form as soon as possible, prior to the desired session (please indicate on the form which session the student is applying). Once interest forms are reviewed, students will be contacted for interviews. Interest forms can be found online at blessinghealth.org/youthcorps.

What started as a way to pass the time during treatment turned into something so much more.

Healing looks different for everyone. For one patient and her daughter, it looked like quiet moments spent together, turning beads into something beautiful. The earrings they made during treatment became more than just a way to pass the time—they became conversation starters, connection points, and little reminders of joy shared with the care team around them.

Hannibal Clinic is a physician directed corporation whose mission is to support and assist its physicians and other healthcare providers in the practice of medicine founded upon excellence, compassion, honesty and integrity.

Hannibal Clinic was founded in 1957 by four visionary Physicians, and has grown to the corporation it is today- with over 50 Physicians practicing in 20 specialties. In 2018 Hannibal Clinic merged with Blessing Health System with the goal to better serve the community and patients of the area.
