A clinical trial is a research study where experts study potential treatments. The treatments might be new drugs or devices. Clinical trials must meet specific standards and regulations. Should you decide to join a clinical trial, know that your well-being is the clinical trial team’s top priority. And you can leave a trial at any time.

Did you know we have volunteer opportunities at our Illini and Hannibal locations?!

Volunteers are a critical component of Blessing Health System. Hundreds of volunteers contribute tens of thousands of hours supporting our staff, patients, and families across dozens of departments each year.

Meet Teresa Frazier, for instance... Teresa worked at Illini for 55 years (1961-2016)... and then, soon after her retirement, she turned to volunteering her time!!

If you need medical attention... It's important to know where to go.

The Blessing Health Express Clinic, Walk-In Clinic, Hannibal Walk-In Clinic, and Illini Express will remain open for the long weekend.

Memorial Day Schedule:
Walk-In Clinic: 6 am – 9 pm.
Blessing Express Clinic: 8 am – 5 pm.
Hannibal Walk-in: 9 am – 4 pm
Illini Express: 8 am - 11 am

Cancer survivors and their loved ones are invited to join the Blessing Hospital Cancer Center team in Quincy on Friday, June 5, to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day 2026. The event will take place between 1 - 3 pm in the parking lot at 11th and College Streets. There is no cost to attend the event. Cancer survivors and their loved ones from across the region – no matter where they were treated – are invited to attend.

Join us on Saturday, May 30 from 10 am – 12 pm in the Blessing Health Hannibal parking lot for a no-cost community event the whole family will love!

Kids can test their skills on bicycle obstacle courses (including a special course just for younger riders), enjoy sweet treats, and win prizes along the way. Plus, we’ll be sharing important bicycle safety tips to help keep your little riders safe—especially the importance of wearing helmets.
