Our annual Santa Experience is back again this year with a few changes! We are so grateful to always have such an amazing turn out for the last 3 years. We have had so much interest this last year that we are trying a change of only being available for individuals with developmental disabilities this year! There are so many local Santa events that we have decided to specifically appeal to our DD community and provide a smaller, more sensory friendly event for our folks and families. Thank you for your understanding! We welcome our DD community and work families, please join us for photos and treats with Santa! :)

We are in search of a Full Time Evening/Day shifter! This person must already have or have the ability to obtain a Class E License and must have a vehicle with valid insurance. We primarily are looking for an evening shifter that would enjoy taking our individuals out into the community to thrive and have fun on outings as well as complete double staffing duties for an evening shift in the home.

We are also hiring for multiple overnight shifts- You may apply on Indeed for this position.

Yesss!!!!

People with developmental and intellectual disabilities have had to fight to be seen as the rightful owners of their own lives, their own space. When you enter someone’s home as a support worker, you’re not clocking into your environment, you’re walking into theirs. That’s sacred.

It’s not about being polite, it’s about being person-centred in the deepest way. Shoes off if they ask. Quiet if they need it. Ask before moving things. Listen before doing. It’s their home, their rules, their life.

Dignity doesn’t need a policy. It needs practice.
