Luther Manor Retirement & Nursing Center
PERSONAL INVENTORY POLICY
Luther Manor administration and staff want our residents to be as comfortable as possible in their new surroundings. We encourage each resident to bring some of their favorite possessions that will make them more comfortable and content with their new surroundings. However, Luther Manor must obey all state and federal mandated rules for the safety of the residents and employees who work at this home.
Clothing and personal items must be inventoried and put on the Personal Inventory Sheet in the Resident's chart. It is the family's responsibility to ensure that any Items brought into the facility are checked in with nursing. Clothing, personal items, and equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, cushions, and canes) must be added to the Personal Inventory Sheet in the chart and identified with the Resident's name. Luther Manor is limiting the closet area to no more than 8 items to hang. Families are responsible for checking clothing quarterly and to switch clothing to accommodate as the season changes.
Below are some items that cannot be allowed in the resident's room due to safety issues. Please feel free to speak to the administrator, social service, or director of nursing if you have any questions or concerns about the list below.
