Dr. Paul Thomas has been in practice in the Hanover, Pennsylvania area since August 1998. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship at Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Thomas was on staff at Geisinger Medical

Center for two years when he entered into the field of Clinical Nutrition and Gastroenterology. He completed a Clinical Nutrition Fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center, and then his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, Pennsylvania. While in private practice in Hanover, Pennsylvania, Dr. Thomas was involved in several clinical research trials for erosive esophagitis, ulcerative colitis, and diarrhea associated IBS. He is the Owner and President of Hillside Gastroenterology & Nutrition, Inc. Hillside Endoscopy Center, LLC is a Department of Health and Medicare-approved, Pennsylvania state-licensed and AAAHC accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center located alongside Hillside Gastroenterology & Nutrition. Our facility includes one Procedure Room and two pre-op/PACU beds. Anesthesia for our procedures is provided through PENN-MAR Anesthesia. Hillside Endoscopy Center’s mission is to provide patients quality and efficient elective and diagnostic endoscopic procedures in a friendly, comfortable, and convenient environment. Our main goal is to strive for patient safety under the most stringent guidelines to ensure quality health care.
