This weekend was filled with love, remembrance, and purpose as Kinny’s family attended two events in honor and remembrance of their sweet girl. 💛

First up was the Mac-a-Thon at Immaculata University. The students were raising money and awareness for childhood cancer. Meighan delivered a heartfelt speech in Kinny’s honor.

Next up was Bean’s Ball. Dressed up and holding her close in their hearts, they gathered with others to support Storm the Heavens Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding critical research for DIPG, the devastating cancer that took our Kinny far too soon.

While the events carried the weight of loss, they also shined with hope. Every story shared and every dollar raised was a reminder that her light continues to make a difference. Kinny’s legacy lives on in the fight for a cure, in the strength of her family, and in the community that refuses to let her story fade.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever fighting. Forever Kinleigh MacKay.💫

This past weekend Tim and Meighan were blessed with the opportunity to attend a faith-based retreat for parents who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a child. The While We’re Waiting organization runs grief retreats all over the United States.

Being surrounded by others who truly understand this kind of grief was both comforting and healing.

They shared stories, tears, prayers, and moments of hope with people walking a similar path. While this journey is incredibly heavy, they are not alone in carrying it. Connecting with other bereaved parents and leaning into their faith, gave them space to reflect, remember, and continue learning how to live alongside the grief.

It was a weekend of meaningful conversations and reminders that love for our children continues to connect us all. 💛

We honor the fighters, the survivors, the caregivers, and we remember those we’ve lost.
Cancer affects more lives than we can count, but so do hope, research, compassion, and community.

Seana Isaac 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗮! 🩷 was diagnosed with DIPG around the same time as Kinny. She fought hard for over 2 years finding strength in her unwavering faith. This morning, Seana gained her wings and is now healed and whole again in heaven. ✝️

Saturday, January 10, come out and watch four local schools’ faculty members battle it out on the basketball court. All proceeds support the schools’ mini-thon efforts. Mini-thon raises money for the Four Diamonds Foundation. Details are below. If you head out to catch a game, which will surely be a good time, rock those Kinny’s Krew shirts or be bold and wear GOLD to support pediatric cancer. 💛

The Four Diamonds Foundation is a non-profit that works to conquer childhood cancer by providing comprehensive support, superior care, and innovative research funding for children and families at Penn State Health Children's Hospital. Established in 1972, it ensures 100% of medical bills for eligible patients' cancer treatment are covered, funds groundbreaking research for cures, and offers vital family support services.

🎄Sending a big thank you to the MFamilyFoundation and the Hoster Family for giving the Connelly Crew a magical Christmas getaway in sunny Florida. The family enjoyed time at Disney and soaking up the sun at Cocoa Beach.☀️

🎄Kinny’s Holiday Spectacular was nothing short of magical. A beautiful Christmas dance performance by the Hanover School of Ballet, created in loving honor of Kinleigh, our Christmas-loving dancer angel whose sparkle continues to dance on.
🩰Watching her big sister Brie on stage was especially meaningful, a reminder that Kinny’s spirit lives on through every step, twirl, and smile. Thank you to everyone who made this night so full of love, grace, and remembrance.

One year ago today, we gathered together for one of the hardest days… Kinleigh's funeral and burial. It was a day none of us ever wanted to face, yet somehow it became a beautiful reflection of her—full of love, full of tenderness, and full of the people who adored her.

Friends, family, and her beloved elves all came together to honor an extraordinary little girl. The songs, the stories, the hugs, the tears… every moment felt wrapped in the same magic she brought into our world.

Though the ache hasn’t faded, neither has the love Kinny left behind.

We miss you, Kinny. You are still so loved, so cherished, and so deeply missed—today and every day. As we head into the Christmas Season (her favorite) we will see you in every snowflake, every Elf smile, and every twinkle light - you are the magic of the season! Forever Kinleigh💖🎄🦋

This Thanksgiving, we want to thank you, Kinny's Krew, for surrounding the Connelly family with so much love over the past couple years. Your prayers, kindness, and support reminded us that even in heartbreak, there is still so much good in the world.
