Take a pause and join us in this simple practice of self-care that stimulates the relaxation response in body·mind·spirit. With the intention to rest and slow down, you’ll start to sink into the moment and let go. Slowly, we will move from one pose to the next while wrapping in blankets, using blocks, bolsters and sandbags to go deeper feeling safe and supported. You’ll leave feeling relaxed, centered and rejuvenated. This class is held in-studio only.

Proud & Resilient: A Q***r Yoga Workshop

🗓️Saturday 10/25 12-3pm

Join yoga instructor Jonas A. McCaffery for a special workshop for q***r and trans-identified individuals.

As members of the LGBTQ+ community, we can often feel disconnected from our bodies and experience high levels of stress and anxiety on a daily basis due to our q***rness. This workshop is created to bring us back to our physical selves and connect it to our mind and spirit. It will be a place of finding power in our q***rness and transness, increasing our well being and self worth in a safe environment. The tentative plan for the day will have an introduction, then an all-levels vinyasa flow, lunch time to chat and mingle, a group Q&A about personal and q***r issues, and finish with a restorative and guided meditation practice. It will be a time to foster community, strength, and healing while expressing your true self.

While this workshop is open to allies too, it is mainly intended to be a q***r-centered space.

Cost for this experience is $40, or $35 for Studio+ Members.
