THANK YOU to everyone who donated shoes to our annual shoe drive that benefits our Walk to End Alzheimer's teams. This year, we collected over 1,750 pairs of all types of shoes and those shoes are on their way to other countries to support families. We, in turn, receive a check for the shoes which goes to directly to the Alzheimer's Association.

Across all of the local communities we serve, our team partners with local businesses to place shoe drop boxes for collections. We are thankful to each business that helps make this possible.

We are proud to recognize Denise Brzenk, as our Hanover office Angel of the Month for September 2025!

Denise joined our team in March of this year with one simple goal: to find a job that makes her happy. She quickly discovered not only joy in her work, but also a deep passion for caring for clients with dementia. She has already made a lasting impact on so many of them. Her clients have become more engaged and active, enjoying everything from music trivia and bingo to the simple joys of peanut butter crackers dipped in chocolate. Denise brings creativity, patience and warmth to every visit, helping her clients feel truly seen and cared for.

At home, Denise cares for her disabled Navy veteran husband and has also supported family members on hospice. Through her experiences, including caring for her mother and other relatives living with dementia, she has gained invaluable lessons that shine through in the care she provides every day.

Thank you, Denise, for the compassion and love you show our clients. We are blessed to have you as part of our caregiving family. You are an Angel!
