Williamsville Wellness

Williamsville Wellness Transforming lives through personalized addiction treatment since 2007. Ready to stop using and start living? Call 804-575-5658.

Inpatient care with 8-10 individual sessions per week on our 400+ acre campus & virtual outpatient options for VA residents. Operating since 2007, Williamsville Wellness is one of the country's most innovative gambling, drug, and alcohol residential treatment centers. Our experience has shown us that the most successful approach to helping compulsive behaviors is through an individualized treatment plan. Our wellness treatment center is specifically licensed for gambling and alcohol addiction. Nestled on 400 acres of beautiful Virginia countryside, Williamsville Wellness is among the most tranquil and secluded alcohol residential treatment centers in the country. We believe that the true path to healing begins in a place where you feel safe, secure, and relaxed. We are one of few alcoholic treatment centers located within an actual home, rather than a building designed specifically for treatment. Residential alcohol treatment centers that feel like hospitals discourage patients from opening up because they don’t feel comfortable. At Williamsville Wellness, you will feel immediately welcomed, allowing you to start focusing on the causes, effects, and signs of alcoholism and addiction that you’ve come here to address. If you are tired of drug, gambling, or alcoholism effects in your life, or if you’re observing signs of alcoholism in someone you love, call Williamsville Wellness. We’ll help you take the steps toward treatment and recovery.

Recovery isn't about erasing the past, it's about transforming your relationship with it and reclaiming your future.

When treatment recognizes how past experiences shape present struggles, healing can address root causes rather than just symptoms. Our blog breaks down what trauma-informed care actually looks like and why it creates better outcomes for people ready to move forward.

With $1.7 billion expected to be wagered on this year's Super Bowl, the intersection of major sporting events and gambling patterns is getting more attention.

Our Clinical Director, Kelly Dewey, recently spoke with CBS 6 about an important trend we're seeing: gambling-related concerns increase significantly after major sporting events like the Super Bowl.

"We see success when they are willing to be open, honest, willing to engage with us, but also a program of recovery which can look different for everyone."

If you or someone you care about is ready to explore support, we're here.

Virginia's gambling helpline calls increased 200% since sports betting legalization. Treatment centers expect more help requests after Super Bowl weekend.

Meet Ava! 🐶

As Chief Barketing Officer, Ava brings smiles to our facility with her daily fashion shows and sweet personality. Don't let her size fool you - she takes her job seriously:

"I come to work every day in my best outfits and hang out in the office. Patients can visit me if they want some puppy therapy, but no pressure - I totally get that not everyone is a dog person. My specialty is providing stress relief and the occasional laugh when someone sees my latest outfit. Plus, as a Coton de Tulear, I have a cotton-like coat that's actually hair rather than fur, so I'm hypoallergenic for those who do want to say hi. It's a pretty great gig - I get to look cute, make people smile, and still be home for dinner."

Meet Courtney! 💕

As Marketing Director, Courtney brings years of experience and a deep understanding of our mission to everything she does. Her passion for helping families find the support they need for themselves or their loved ones during difficult times drives her work:

"I've had the unique opportunity to see Williamsville from many different perspectives over the years, and that has shaped how I approach marketing. Whether I'm working on our website, developing marketing strategies, or finding new ways to make our services more accessible, I think about the person on the other side who might be desperately searching for answers. My goal is to ensure people can find us when they need us most, and that they understand recovery is possible. I've seen countless success stories, and being able to help connect others to that possibility is what makes this work so meaningful."
