It’s time, at least for me, to do some things that make me feel fabulous!


My saying these past 5months has been, “reset and reload.” I finally got my lashes put back on today and I feel great...I now am adding into that saying, “refreshed and re-DO.”

My lash artist is on Lake and Lyndale and this is the first time I have seen all the changes down here. My heart literally hurts and I feel scared for the new normal that’s is upon us. Sunny’s, the place I used to love to go and buy hair extensions is all boarded up... I feel wounded.
The bright colorful murals all around me are inspiring and super cool, but I feel cautious and I uninvited looking at them.
I am driving around imagining what friends of mine must have felt living down here with all the chaos around them, literally tears warm my eyes. (Thankful I won’t have mascara runs🤗 )
The look in peoples eyes is distant and far away, I want to hug them all! I didn’t feel safe stopping at my usual on the way home to grab a snack and use the bathroom...so I kept on driving missing my routine and love for visiting my childhood world.(thankfully mom was home so I could use her bathroom🤗)

I am merging back on the 12 to drive back to the country where I live leaving more of myself down there then I anticipated. It’s been a good day (reloaded), but an empty day because the world around me has forced me to (reset) in a way I am not ready for!
