Welcome to Dove’s Flight Healing
Hi! I am Patty Whitcher, Certified Reiki Master. I come from the Blackfoot Indian lineage. As a small child, I realized I was different. I remember seeing shadows in my room when I went to bed. They were a little frightening, so I started praying to God, asking Him to keep my family and me safe. At the tender age of 10, I would wake up at 2:00 a.m. with thoughts and ideas I didn't understand. I thought they were dreams, and I started them as poetry and short stories. Later I realized they were premonitions of the future. Curious about my gift, I was drawn to reading about Astrology and Palm Reading.
As an adult, I discovered Reiki while searching for a way to help my son when he was diagnosed with ADHD. After experiencing positive results for him, I wanted to learn more, and share my healing gifts with others. I earned a certification as Reiki Master. as well as other complementary Alternative Wellness therapies.
What Is Reiki?
"Reiki is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy.
