River Oaks Hospital, located just minutes outside New Orleans, Louisiana is a private psychiatric facility for adults and adolescents. For over 40 years, River Oaks has established a tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders. River Oaks Hospital is proud to serve active duty servicemen and women from all branches of the military as well as their spouses and dependents. Physicians are on the medical staff of River Oaks Hospital, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of River Oaks Hospital.
