Newton’s First Law of Motion states, "A body at rest will remain at rest, and a body in motion will remain in motion unless it is acted upon by an external force."

We can apply this to our daily life by stretching, walking, lifting weights, cutting wood, golfing, or simply playing outdoors with our kids. Those are some activities that we can enjoy to keep our bodies in motion! The body was made to move however, people can have setbacks whether it’s a musculoskeletal injury, organ disorder or any disease that can be debilitating.

What is that popping noise?!

Maybe you’re thinking you’d like to give Chiropractic a try but that popping noise during an adjustment has you hesitating. It sounds alarming but rest assured- it’s completely normal and harmless!

During a back adjustment, for example, your back goes through quick and gentle stretching of the spinal facet joint and this is when you hear that cracking or popping sound. This is caused by small pockets of air or bubbbles which are in the fluid that surrounds your joints. When the joint tissues are stretched, those air pockets “pop” creating that sound that you hear.
