When asked what motivates her, Amber shared:

This week, we’re proud to honor a caregiver who truly embodies our company value of Responsibility through her consistency, care, and commitment to her clients. Betsy has been with us for 8 years, and her impact continues to be deeply felt.

She shared how she prepares for every shift:
💬 “I charge my phone every night, plan to leave early for winter roads, and my favorite thing to tell my clients is, ‘Nothing would stop me from coming to see you!’”

That mindset creates safety, trust, and peace of mind for the people she serves. Her consistency means her clients know they can count on her — and that reliability strengthens relationships, care outcomes, and quality of life.

When you hear "Walk a mile in my shoes", what comes to your mind?
At Comfort Keepers, we know that classroom training paired with comprehensive hands-on training are critical for building solid skills and empathetic care.

Our new Comfort Keepers work with experienced trainers (such as Linda, LPN) in a classroom setting which includes "walking a mile in my shoes", or today - "riding in my Hoyer lift"! Tomorrow they will be working in homes across Northern Michigan alongside experienced caregivers for their first shadow shifts, strengthening their skills and elevating the spirits of our neighbors.
