It’s the season to be outside and soak in Vitamin D! 🌞

Our friends dropped us off donations of flower bulbs and pots yesterday, and today we’ve been fixing up garden beds. Hardinsburg UMC still has Amaryllis Bulbs left, priced at $4 per bulb. We are so excited to see these beautiful babies blossom! ❤️ 🌺

Big thank you to our local Harm Reduction program for all that they do, and our good friends at Butterfly Farms and senior sisters of the Gift House.

We are proud to now partner with Breckinridge Co. Detention Center to offer backpacks for female releasees, packed with clothing, hygiene, blankets, recovery resources and bibles. 🩷

Thank you to our community supporters and painters. 20 local businesses and individuals, corporations, ministries and families that helped us with our fundraiser. We truly are a home built on community. We are proud to display our support, as it’s what keeps us going. We may be small, but our fruit is MIGHTY. So many beautiful things come from this home. 🩷

As many of you know, our director who normally handles our art projects, is on bedrest due to pregnancy complications. There were four local artists that stepped up to work together to help complete this project from start to finish, and we couldn’t be more grateful for every single hand and bead of sweat that went into this.

Fundraisers, no matter how small or large, help us keep going. They are vital to staying open and allowing us to serve women, year after year.

First day of spring… and you can tell. ☀️ The sun’s coming out, the air feels good, we are READY!

Spring has a way of reminding us that growth is real, even when it’s slow and messy. That’s a big part of what we see here every day.

If you’ve supported The Gift House in any way, you’re part of that growth. And if you’ve been thinking about getting involved, this is a pretty good time to start. 😉
