2. When you’re fixing your plate, use a smaller plate, give yourself smaller portions, and dress up your plate. Studies have shown that when foods are artistically plated, the one eating it tends to eat less.
3. If you are eating, concentrate on your food. If you are distracted by your phone or the television, you will tend to eat more. If you are easily distracted, sit at the table with nothing on or around you and focus solely on your own plate.
