Last day to order the clothing items for the pregnancy and infant loss event:

Myrtue’s Birthing Center invites all community members to come together for a special evening dedicated to the remembrance of pregnancy and infant loss. Wednesday, October 15th, is International Wave of Light Day. A day where the light of a candle shines around the world for 24 hours to honor and celebrate the lives of all the babies lost to pregnancy loss or infant loss.
We are offering this event in two communities -- Potters Park in Harlan and Edgington Park in Avoca. Join us at one of the locations to grieve gently, honor boldly, and celebrate always.

At 7 pm local time, we will light a candle. This candle could represent your own baby, or maybe it celebrates the life of someone else’s babies, you know.
This event provides an opportunity to reflect on the losses and offer comfort to those who have experienced this heartbreak. Our intention is to help families and loved ones understand that they are not alone in their journey of grief and healing.
