Did you know today was National Dog Day and that The Birches is also home to one four legged friend? Resident Valerie lives at The Birches with her long time companion GiGi! And boy does GiGi enjoy all the attention she gets from all of her and Valerie’s neighbors, friends and walks with Valerie and the staff. The day celebrates all breeds, mixed and pure, and serves to help galvanize the public to recognize the number of dogs that need to be rescued each year, either from public shelters, rescues and pure breed rescues. 🐾🐕‍🦺🐾🦴

What a wonderful day at The Birches Friday! Residents, families and staff enjoyed our annual community luau party. There was delicious food including an entire pig, lots of laughter and nothing but smiles. Resdients enjoyed the steel drum performance and even danced to the limbo to end a wonderful afternoon!
