❄️ Sometimes it’s the little moments that mean the most.
When Mary Esther Batdorf kept asking about the snow, our dining team didn’t hesitate. They bundled her up and brought her outside to experience it firsthand. From the smiles to the laughter, it was clear the joy of the moment was shared by everyone, especially Alex, who may have loved it just as much as Mary Esther did!

We’re proud to celebrate Brett Mayer, Vice President of Mission Support, and Alyssa Howard, Recruiter, who recently completed the Indian Valley LEAD Program! 🎉
They now join a strong network of 186 alumni who have invested in their growth as leaders. Throughout the program, Brett and Alyssa strengthened practical leadership skills, gained deeper self-awareness, enhanced their communication, and explored new ways to support and empower their teams.
At Peter Becker Community, we believe investing in our people strengthens our entire community, and this is a wonderful example of that commitment in action.

In honor of MLK Day of Service, our residents came together for a meaningful volunteer project with the Mennonite Central Committee’s Material Resource Center.
This local organization creates quilts for children impacted by war, poverty, and other emergencies around the world. Our Peter Becker Community residents lovingly created 60 quilt squares, each filled with color and care. Once the colors are set, these squares will be assembled into quilts that will bring comfort and warmth to children in need.
We’re so proud of our residents for turning compassion into action and sharing their creativity with the world. 💙
