A silicone warming mat can be a helpful addition to the home. It keeps a meal warm until ready to be eaten. A Caregiver can prepare a meal and place it on the warming mat with a lid or foil. This takes away the stress of cooking or heating food in the microwave. Many options and sizes available. Some come with an auto shutoff feature. Easy to clean and store. Be careful to test and check temperature settings of the mat to avoid possible injury. Here is one example.

Yesterday, ACS Homecare Staff had a wonderful time delivering gifts to show appreciation to clients that served our country. While our veterans were grateful for the “awesome vet” socks and blanket with our logo, it was the cards and drawings by the students of Worcester Elementary School that put HUGE smiles on their faces. We don’t post client photos, but with our clients’ permission, we sent photos of them back to Worcester students to thank them for their kind efforts.
