Student Spotlight ✨

This week we’re spotlighting a student who found yoga during grad school and quickly realized it was something her body and mind truly needed. What started as a way to manage stress has become a grounding weekly ritual—especially those early morning Monday classes that help set the tone for the entire week.

Over time, her practice has evolved into one rooted in listening inward: choosing challenges that feel right, focusing on balance, and letting go of the need to “achieve” poses just for the sake of it. Yoga has become a touchstone for noticing how much better she feels—physically and mentally—when she practices consistently.

Tara stays motivated because her body reminds her how powerful the practice is, and because showing up alongside supportive teachers and fellow yogis makes even early mornings worthwhile. Her advice for new students? Try different classes, tune out comparison, and honor where you are—your yoga journey is yours alone.

Most of all, Tara shares how meaningful it is to be part of the Saha Yoga community: a welcoming, supportive space where she's found connection, belonging, and inspiration both on and off the mat. 💛🧘‍♀️
