We just finished Nurse Appreciation Week and we showered them with gifts and treats but we will continue to celebrate them daily. There is no replacing what you sacrifice of yourselves to go above and beyond the call of duty.

But serving families and patients brings you joy and makes you happy.
When you knock on that door and step in to a home
Whatever you were feeling, dissipates into the unknown.
Suddenly no one is more important than those before you,
You see things from a different angle, a different point of view.
This is more than just a job, this is your passion.
Hospice is love, empathy, and compassion
Your commitment goes beyond Eight to Five
To ensure patients and families are comfortable you strive.
You are patient as you see all the education you’ve given families bloom
You grieve, pray, cry, and laugh as you sit with them through heaven’s waiting room.”
