“A picture is worth a thousand words,” Dr. Mazzola says as he walks us through the before and after images of a recent ablation procedure.

An ablation is a minimally invasive procedure that treats irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias) by targeting and eliminating the small areas of heart tissue causing the abnormal signals. The ”before” image shows the irregular activity, while the “after” image reveals the restored normal rhythm.

This shows how effective this treatment can be for patients. ❤️
