This month, we proudly recognize the vital role that home care and hospice professionals play in supporting patients and families across the country. Home-based care allows individuals to receive medical support, comfort, and dignity in the place they feel safest — home.

Since 1989, our team has been honored to provide compassionate, reliable care to our community. For 35 years, families have trusted us to walk beside them through moments of healing, comfort, and transition. It is a privilege we carry with gratitude every day.

As we celebrate Home Care & Hospice Month, we also celebrate the dedicated nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, therapists, volunteers, and staff who make our mission possible.

🌟🎂 Celebrating 86 Wonderful Years! 🎂🌟

Today, Sunglo is proud to celebrate the 86th birthday of our cofounder, Mr. Ruben G. Salazar!

Nearly four decades ago, Mr. Salazar and his beloved wife, Linda, had a vision: to build a healthcare agency rooted in compassion, faith, and dedication to families here in the Rio Grande Valley.

What began as their shared dream has grown into Sunglo—an agency that has cared for thousands of patients with dignity and kindness for more than 38 years. Thanks to their vision, Sunglo has become both a trusted part of our community and a workplace that feels like family to those of us blessed to serve here.

Mr. Salazar continues to be a source of inspiration, reminding us that faith, hard work, and love for others can leave a lasting mark on the world.
