Happy 100th Birthday to John Ramseier! 🎉

This Miracle Moment at Valley View was nothing short of unforgettable. John, a WWII veteran who served in Normandy clearing hedgerows for vehicles, was greeted with a cheering crowd that left him smiling and saying, “Oh wow! Is all this fuss for me?”

The celebration was filled with heartfelt tributes: the Jr. ROTC Color Guard presented the flags, the Harlingen Fire Department led prayer and the Pledge, and Mayor Norma Sulpolveda officially proclaimed it John Ramseier Day. John was also honored with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, as well as certificates and a Challenge Coin from VFW Post 2410 and American Legion Post 172.

This was a true community celebration, honoring a remarkable life and the legacy of a local hero. 🇺🇸💙
