Our PTA Lori with one of our most recent graduates Alexa.

Alexa came to us suffering from knee pain, not only is she leaving us with decreased pain but she has increased strength, increased range of motion and increased activity tolerance.

Alexa can now resume her love for the game of softball 🥎 and any other activities she enjoys for summer time.

How long have you been working at Total Rehab - Harlingen?

I have been working at Total Rehab-Harlingen for almost two years.

What is your role/position at Total Rehab - Harlingen?

I’m a COTA in the OT dept.

What are your hobbies/interests?

My hobbies include spending time with family, doing yard work and trying new restaurants.

Tell us a fun fact about you.

A fun fact about myself is that I am obsessed with Unsweetened tea from Whataburger.

What are your future career goals or personal achievements?

I have worked in almost every OT setting and my ultimate goal is to always provide high quality care that empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery and achieve their goals.

Tell us about a proud moment you had while working at Total Rehab - Harlingen?

I take pride in moments when my clients progress and tell me that they have returned to their hobbies and interests that were once too difficult to complete.

What do you like about working at Total Rehab - Harlingen?

I really enjoy working with the Total Rehab-Harlingen team and being a part of each client’s rehab and overall life journey.
