Originally from Harlingen, Tx, Nivvia attended the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. After discovering the communications disorder program at UTRGV, Nivvia realized that speech language pathology was a better fit for her, than becoming a teacher. She’s always enjoyed working with the children, and loves that she has still has the opportunity to teach, but in a different way!

Christopher is from Combes, TX. He was inspired to become a speech therapist after he had the opportunity of treating a non-verbal patient. This experience solidified the importance voices have; setting him on the path to become an SLPA.
