Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting chief complaints with enthusiasm and accuracy
Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning
Assist with clinical procedures, including medication administration, wound care, X-ray positioning
Support medical documentation by updating electronic health record (EHR) systems with detailed notes on patient encounters, diagnoses (ICD coding), and treatment plans
Prepare exam rooms for patient visits by ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and proper supply inventory in outpatient clinics
Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, offering reassurance, and guiding patients through their visit processes
Requirements:
Prior experience in hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or specialized areas
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols
Hands-on experience with EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient data and clinical notes
Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with intake assessments, and supporting inpatient or outpatient procedures
Excellent communication skills focused on delivering compassionate patient care.
