Using aspirin in the washing machine is a laundry hack that helps whiten and brighten clothes, especially white fabrics. Here’s why:
1. Removes Yellowing and Dinginess – Aspirin contains acetylsalicylic acid, which can help break down sweat stains and fabric discoloration, making whites look fresher.
2. Dissolves Stubborn Stains – It can help lift tough stains, such as those caused by perspiration or deodorant, without harsh bleach.
3. Prevents Graying of White Clothes – Regular washing can cause white fabrics to turn gray over time. Aspirin helps maintain their brightness.

How to Use Aspirin in Laundry:
• Crush 4–5 aspirin tablets (325 mg each) and dissolve them in warm water.
• Soak your white clothes in the solution for a few hours or overnight before washing as usual.
• Alternatively, add the crushed tablets directly to the drum of the washing machine before starting a normal cycle.

We are sisters, I’m Beth, my sister is Savannah, I have 3 boys and a granddaughter, Savannah has a little boy and a little girl, we both have always worked with elderly, in nursing home, assistant Living & home health, all our lives, we worked for a maid service at one time which brought to opening Sparkling Maid ! Sparkling Maid was started 5 years ago this Beginning of Spring but been in full force 4 years this Spring…. Owning this business has been a passion for 7 years….. I can’t thank god enough to where he’s brought this business to date, we have met some amazing new friends that has definitely turned into family, when we come into your home it’s no longer us taking care of another families home , it’s us coming into your home and treating it like we would our own homes, We can’t thank each and everyone of you enough for allowing us to care for your homes, You are what is making Sparkling Maid thrive and growing… We can’t thank you all enough for the word of mouth reference, the phone calls for references….
We enjoy spending our days with each and everyone of you!!!

Just cause it’s cold outside with snow! Doesn’t mean spring isn’t fast approaching
We are now gonna start booking for Spring Cleaning! Just cause we had so many last year that wanted to start booking early .. just send a message to get a date booked… ALL FIRST TIME CLIENTS THERE IS A $50 NON REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE, just cause we do have people who book and cancel last minute, & when that happens they stops the next person who wants the next available date from being able to get their cleaning sooner … It will come off your cleaning fee though when we do finish your cleaning, but if you cancel it won’t come off your cleaning

It’s that time of the year again! We will be collecting….. Blankets, Coats, gloves, toboggans, socks etc for the homeless, We see a lot as we drive to our surrounding cities to Clean your homes… Especially when we stop on interstate to get gas, WE ASK EACH ONE OF YOU IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING YOU’RE NO LONGER WEARING OR DONT FIT ETC TO PLEASE DONATE & let someone who can use them have them, Im also gonna be putting together zip lock baggies with water, crackers and travel size shampoo, conditioner, etc to be handing out with those items that’s being donated … If you have anything and would like to donate we will start collecting at end of October, if you have anything before then just place in bag and put by your front door please… Thanks in Advance to the ones who do decide to donate…..
